Language Variation and Style-shifting for Fifth Graders curriculumThe LVSS is a 4-week, 18-lesson curriculum designed to teach Spanish-English bilingual 5th graders about natural language variation in both of their languages. It also teaches students about the concept of "style-shifting", that is, changing one's language features to match the context and audience. LVSS was piloted in a Dual Language 5th grade classroom in 2013.
